The difference between solvent and eco solvent printing

Solvent inks and eco solvent inks The core of printing is the ink used, solvent ink and eco solvent ink, they are both solvent-based ink, but  eco solvent ink is environmentally friendly .   Solvent ink "Strong solvent" or "full solvent" ink is an oil-based solution containing pigments and resins. The high VOC (volatile organic compound) content requires ventilation and extraction to protect the printer operator, and many of them retain a distinctive lingering odor on PVC or other substrates that makes the image unsuitable for people to use indoors close enough to the sign to notice the odor.   Eco solvent ink Eco solvent ink is derived from ether extracts of refined mineral oils and have relatively low VOC content by comparison, and can even be used in studio and office environments, provided there is adequate ventilation. They are virtually odorless, so they can often be used with interior graphics and signage. Their chemicals do not attack inkjet nozzles and comp

How do you know which ink to use for your printer?

If you are using a new printer for the first time, you may not be familiar with the type of cartridges your printer uses. Each printer uses a specific printer cartridge family for printing. The printer cartridge family is identified by the printer brand name and cartridge number. 1. The easiest way to determine which cartridges are appropriate for your printer is to turn on the printer and see which cartridges are currently in the machine. 2. If there are no cartridges inside the printer, you can search for the printer model on the manufacturer's website. The manufacturer's page for your printer should contain a list of compatible cartridges. 3. You can also refer to the printer user guide that came with your machine to identify the cartridge series.    Recognizing individual Cartridges for Epson As you know, each type use individual cartridges for Epson printers , which means that each cartridge contains a specific color of ink. This is different from HP's three-color cart

What is the future of UV LED printing?

Just because a UV LED printer dries out ink instantly doesn't mean it affects the quality of the job. In fact, it only enhances it further. Although the technology incorporates instant drying, it ensures that the ink does not sink into the material. In turn, colors are sharper, brighter and more vivid. Sharper colors make the image stand out and grab the reader's attention. For example, if you are a watchmaking company, sharper and more vivid colors will highlight the most subtle aspects of the various products offered and resonate visually, regardless of the material on which it is printed. A common and sometimes unavoidable problem in older printing techniques is ink shedding. This is when unwanted ink is transferred from one sheet of print to another. However, in UV LED printing, the ink sticking is eliminated because it is an instant drying process, which means there is no need for an anti-adhesive powder spray and the finished product will not have any unwanted marks.   UV
