The Future of UV LED Printing

Looking around, print is everywhere, from books to flyers, brochures to labels - all of these items rely on print to convey their message. UV LED printing is quietly emerging as a popular technology. So what does the future hold for UV LED printing?   UV LED ink UV LED ink  differs from traditional UV free radical ink in the formulation. Special consideration of photoinitiators and pigments in the formulation These special photoinitiators absorb at a higher wavelength as opposed to traditional These special photoinitiators absorb at a higher wavelength as opposed to traditional photoinitiators and are typically more expensive.   Fast turnaround time If companies had a choice, they would obviously choose to print their projects as quickly as possible, but older printing technologies used to take a lot of time to produce. UV LED printers do not, because the instant drying process means that there is no longer a need to wait for the ink to dry, and there is no longer a need ...

What is UV printing?

UV printing is a form of digital printing that uses a UV ink   that, once exposed to the wavelengths of UV light, cures into a solid film that bonds firmly directly to the substrate. Originally developed to quickly dry gel nail polish during a manicure, UV applications quickly expanded into the industrial and commercial markets. Because UV cures any printing ink immediately, dots of wet ink have no chance to spread after printing, resulting in finer detail. In addition, UV-cured inks are weather resistant and have greater resistance to fading. This curing process is more environmentally friendly because it produces very little VOC, odor and heat. Aluminum. In fact, this UV flatbed printer is compatible with most substrates up to 2 inches thick! We love UV printing. It's fast curing, high quality, durable and flexible.   When is UV printing the right choice? 1. When environmental impact is a concern Because evaporation is minimized, much less volatile organic compounds are rele...

Reasons for choosing UV printing

Functional advantages of UV flatbed printers 1. Large format graphics Up to 4' x 8' - and 2" thick, compatible with rigid and flexible materials - including acrylic, ABS, Clopid, aluminum, foam board.   2. Second side printing Printing on the back side of clear materials gives depth and adds a glossy appearance.   3. UV printing increases the durability/longevity of graphics UV printing can be durable.  This depends on the substrate and the UV inks used.  Typically, UV inks are developed in a variety of formulations to meet consumer demand for durability. Hard UV inks are used for hard substrates, i.e. those that do not want to bend or stretch. Flexible UV inks, however, are used for bending and stretching items because the ink is formulated to be more flexible.   4. Transparent ink High gloss, the ability to add texture using transparent inks that are only added to certain areas of the print.   5. Can print on multiple substrates The materials that ...

What is DTF Printing?

DTF printing is direct-to-film printing, which is a supplement to the inkjet garment decoration process. Even white ink does not require pretreatment. It is very convenient for customized DIY printing market. What is DTF? DTF is an alternative printing process for DTG. The film was printed using a specific type of water-based ink.It was then dried with powdered glue on the back and then heat cured for storage or immediate use. One of the benefits of DTF is that there is no need to use pretreatment. DTF cannot do this. The powdered glue does the job for you. After hot pressing, the soft water-based ink is transferred to the garment in about 15 seconds. Transfer is most suitable for polyester and other non-cotton fabrics that are difficult to print with traditional DTG printing. DTG is mainly designed for cotton garments printing. DTF is difficult to replace DTG for cotton printing. However, due to its low level of investment in its independent version or fully automated system for mass ...

What is Textile Ink?

Textile ink is continuously used in industry, and it is also an indispensable raw material in advertising materials. The choice of ink also directly affects the effect of the final advertising screen. Textile ink can help display and display rich patterns, and is easy to operate without pre-processing. DTF Max Direct to Film Textile Ink for Epson The following is a detailed introduction of textile inks on the advertising portal: Textile ink uses water-based ink to produce the picture accuracy, and can be applied to uncoated or coated substrates, and can prevent UV ultraviolet rays, suitable for outdoor: colorful colors, experience the real visual enjoyment. It is environmentally friendly water-based ink, and effectively protect the nozzle, no cyclohexanone, no waste, no peculiar smell. The particle diameter in the ink is less than 0.1mm and approaches zero. At the same time, the ink density is closest to the standard density, so the color is more realistic and natural. The performa...

UVKM InkMall UV-curable ink for Konica

It is formulated with four components: pigments, monomers, oligomers, and photoinitiator. UV inks have a unique cure, and it can fast cure without penetration and evaporation. The ink is delivered to the printing medium in liquid form, and then the UV lamp in the printer works To trigger the photoinitiator. This will cause a chemical reaction between the oligomers and monomer molecules in the ink to form a water-insoluble plastic coating and firmly fix the ink to the medium. It does not require solvents, has fast curing speed, high gloss, bright colors, water resistance, ink resistance, and solvent resistance. Now, it is widely used in inkjet printing and has become a relatively mature ink technology. Eco-solvent Ink I3200 Eco Solvent Ink The eco-solvent ink uses a mild solvent carrier, which means that the ink has virtually no odour as they don't contain as many volatile organic compounds. The pigment-based formulation makes it resistant to sunlight and water, too. It has the chara...

UV Ink & Eco-solvent Ink, What are the Differences Between Them?
